Genera 2010, the Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, will be held at the IFEMA Business Centre in Madrid, between May 19 and 21, and will bring together companies involved in the thermal solar power, photovoltaic solar power, energy services, gas, oil, and thermoelectric solar power sectors, among others.
SENER and Torresol Energy (a Sener Grupo de Ingeniería company) will participate in the Congress on Wednesday 19. At 11.20am, Torresol Energy’s Technology Director, Juan Ignacio Burgaleta, will be taking part in the round table on ‘Industrial Projects, manageability of STE production and development of the regulatory framework’, which will address the operation of thermoelectric plants with thermal storage.
Moreover, SENER Engineering Group’s Project Manager, José María Menéndez Salcedo, will be participating in the morning session from 10.05am to 11.15am, which will be about the current situation in bioengineering-biomass, with the presentation ‘Energy leverage of biomass and waste by means of high-efficiency energy cycles’.
This Congress comes at a key moment in Spain due to the imminent publication of the Government's National Action Plan to meet the objectives set for the year 2020 in the Directive on renewable energies.
