
Torresol Energy and SENER demonstrate their renewable technology in the exhibition ‘Spain, a journey through renewable energies’
A high level seminar on Renewable Energies will take place on the 15th and 16th of April in the Palacio de Congresos Baluarte in Pamplona, as part of a series of events organised by the Spanish Presidency of the European Union.
As part of this framework the Spanish Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables (National Renewable Energy Centre) has organised an exhibition entitled ‘Spain, a journey through renewable energies’, in which Torresol Energy and SENER will take part with an exhibition of their Valle 1, Valle 2 and Gemasolar plants. Torresol Energy will also be showing a model of the Gemasolar plant and SENER will be exhibiting technology in the field of solar power.
This closed-door seminar will be attended, at the invitation of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, by the following: the European Commission Director-General for Energy, Philip Lowe; the Secretary of State for Energy, Pedro Marín; the President of the Government of Navarra, Miguel Sanz; the Director of the Institute for Energy Diversifying and Saving (IDEA), Enrique Jiménez Larrea, as well as energy directors and officials from throughout Europe.
The Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Miguel Sebastián, is expected to attend the dinner which will be held on the evening of the 15th. All of those present will visit the exhibition ‘Spain, a journey through renewable energies’.
