Torresol Energy and SENER Ingeniería y Sistemas will be taking part at the upcoming Fingerplus Sustainability Forum, a professional engineering, renewable power and energy efficiency conference organised by the consulting firm Agendaplus at the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid.

Starting on 29 October, the event aims to provide a meeting place for discovering the R&D&I activities, career plans and training programmes of professionals in key sectors of the Spanish engineering industry.

Representing Torresol Energy as its Technology Director, Juan Ignacio Burgaleta will participate on 30 October, presenting the case study of Gemasolar with the talk entitled “Technological developments at the Gemasolar thermoelectric plant”, as part of the session “Innovation Projects / Sustainability and Energy Efficiency / Concentrating Solar Power”.

Representing SENER Grupo de Ingeniería, Jerónimo Angulo, Director of the Power and Environment Department, will participate in the third debate session, devoted to innovation professionals, on 29 October. This talk will try to address questions relating to the demands innovation puts on its professionals; what professionals get out of this activity, what opportunities are available for innovation professionals in Spain and whether or not it should be promoted.
