The choice of solar energy as a renewable energy

The sun is one of the most promising sources for replacing fossil fuels. Solar energy is cheap, inexhaustible and free and is more predictable than wind power. In brief, this is one of the future energy sources with high environmental profitability.

The technological evolution in solar energy and the increased price of fossil fuels will allow for medium to long term competitive solutions for thermo solar plants or hybrid plants with other fossil or renewable sources of energy.

A clear example of solar energy is Spain, where Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) is ready to follow an advance similar to that of wind power. Leaving economic factors aside, one can state that this is one of the energies of the future.
