For more than 50 years, SENER has developed outstanding projects worldwide, in every one of our areas of business:

• Civil Engineering and Architecture
• Power and Processes Engineering
• Marine Engineering.

Starting out as a marine engineering company in 1956, SENER was the first company of its kind in Spain.

Four years later, we expanded our business into the industrial sector, at a time when Spain was undergoing an intense period of industrialization.

By 1963, SENER would be involved in the marine, iron and steel, chemical, petrochemical and civil engineering sectors.

Growth and diversification of our business activity would allow us to play an important role in projects for Spain’s main refineries and nuclear power plants, as well as some of the more important automobile manufacturing plants.

At the end of the 1960s, we turned our efforts to the aerospace industry, and ever since then we have been active participants in projects for the space agencies ESA and NASA.

In 1989 the company moved into the Communications sector. Not long after that our journey would take us to Actuator and Control Systems applied to aeronautics, propulsion, industrial machinery, medicine and more recently, solar thermal projects.
