In 2009, SENER acquired the Instrumentation and Systems Division of NTE, S.A., forming NTE-SENER.

With this company SENER strengthens its capacity with regard to space systems for manned missions and life support systems in space, astronomy and science, as well as biomedical systems, consolidating its position as a leading engineering and technology group in the aerospace sector.

NTE-SENER works in the following areas:
