2006

SENER opens the SENER Mexico Division with headquarters in Mexico City and new offices in Okayama, Japan.

2007

SENER opens its SENER Poland Division, located in Warsaw.

2008

SENER Grupo de Ingeniería creates the joint initiative Torresol Energy Investments with Masdar. This company is owned by both SENER and Masdar, with 60% and 40% interest, respectively.

This same year SENER opens its offices in San Francisco (U.S.A.), Algiers (Algeria) and Seville (Spain), acquiring 49% interest in the Portuguese engineering company ENGIVIA, expanding its presence in the Portuguese market.

2009

SENER opens its Abu Dhabi offices.

This same year, it acquires the Instrumentation and Systems Division of NTE, S.A., forming NTE-SENER.

SENER finalizes the acquisition of Mexican engineering company III started in 2007, creating the new company III Grupo SENER.
