ITP is the only Spanish company specializing in the design, development, manufacturing and maintenance of aeronautical and industrial turbines. SENER holds a controlling interest of 53.2%, with the remaining 46.8% being held by Rolls-Royce.

Hisdesat provides communication services via satellite to government clients, for both civil and military applications. SENER holds a 5% stake in the company; other shareholders being HISPASAT, INSA, EADS-CASA and INDRA. To offer these services, the company has two satellites in geostationary orbit, known as XTAR-EUR and SPAINSAT, in operation since 2005 and 2006, respectively.

GSS is a Spanish industrial consortium owned by partners SENER, HISPASAT, INDRA, CASA, AENA, GMV and ALCATEL, with the objective of promoting commercial development, operations and exploitation of applications and services generated in Spain. In future these services will be provided by the GALILEO European satellite navigation system.

GSS's role in Spain is to guarantee country-wide knowledge of the use, applications and services associated with the GALILEO system.
