• CSP Today Awards in the categories "Commercialized Technology Innovation 2011" and "Most Effective Project Development 2011" thanks to Gemasolar plant. These awards are yet another acknowledgment of the effort made by Torresol Energy to make solar power more efficient and more competitive.
• US CSP Today award 2011 in the category of ‘Commercialized Technology Innovation of the year’ thanks to it innovations developed in Gemasolar, the first commercial Concentrated Solar Power plant in the world to use central tower technology with a molten salt receiver and thermal storage system.
